I live in the Portland, OR / Vancouver, WA metro area. As an electronic and firmware engineer, I have developed hardware and firmware that ships worldwide in forklifts, instrumentation, and a variety of high end audio devices. |
I program firmware in C and assembly.
I have written complex firmware over the years, controlling automotive systems, measurement equipment, and audio devices.
My microcontroller of choice is Zilog, although I have also programmed Microchip, Motorola, T.I., Atmel, and Cypress.
I am proud of my ability to design products that pass electromagnetic emissions and susceptability testing without the need for special shielding.
My hardware controls automotive systems in forklifts, MP3 Players, iPod Speakers, PC Speakers, USB Headsets, and other devices.
If your application is a custom application, such as automating a facility, I have experience in very large scale PLC and MMI configuration and programming.
My code runs in facilities including Intel's MOS 13 Fab, Baxter Pharmaceutical's Thousand Oaks facility and Fujitsu's Gresham, OR facility.
